After flying high against Corona last Monday, Norco came back down to earth. The Cougars fell 18-13 to the Roosevelt Mustangs on Monday. The Cougars' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Although Norco took the loss, they still got scores from Kennington Moreno and Ryley Rocheleau.

Norco's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Roosevelt, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-9.

Looking ahead, Norco will square off against Corona at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Roosevelt, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 30-25 victory against Poly on the 7th.
