Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Albert Gallatin). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 win over the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Colonials' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 337th in Pennsylvania, while the Polar Bears are ranked 36th in West Virginia).

Albert Gallatin's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. As for Fairmont Senior, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Albert Gallatin won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bethlehem Center at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fairmont Senior, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Charleroi at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
