Softball Recap: Norman Drops Highest Score of Season Against Shawnee

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norman). They never let the Shawnee Wolves get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. The Tigers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 9, 2024 (when they won 12-0).

The victory made it two in a row for Norman and bumps their season record up to 4-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Shawnee, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-6-1.

Looking ahead, Norman will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Pauls Valley at 5:00 p.m. As for Shawnee, they will head out to challenge Meeker at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
