It's playoff time, and Hebron Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They didn't even let the Savannah Christian Raiders on the board on Wednesday, marking the Lions' second-straight 8-0 shutout. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 contests by six runs or more this season.

Hebron Christian got a great performance from Kate Kennedy as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Kennedy has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Juls Huber was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Raysor, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Hebron Christian's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Savannah Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Hebron Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
