Softball Recap: Dublin Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Laurens, Dublin was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Portal Panthers 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Fighting Irish have posted since August 8, 2024.

The victory got Dublin back to even at 2-2. As for Portal, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Dublin will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Southwest at 5:30 p.m. As for Portal, they will head out to take on Claxton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
