Basketball Recap: Segerstrom Skates Past Elsinore with Ease + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Segerstrom faced off against Elsinore on Monday. The Jaguars blew past the Tigers 67-33. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Jaguars had established a 26-point advantage.

Segerstrom's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamila Floris, who shot 58% from the field en route to 24 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. That's the most steals Floris has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Abby Quero, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 assists.

Segerstrom was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elsinore only posted six.

Segerstrom has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 71.5 points this season. As for Elsinore, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Segerstrom has already played their next game, a 93-32 win against Norwalk on the 25th. As for Elsinore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-33 defeat against Canyon Springs on the 25th.
