Basketball Recap: Strath Haven Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Strath Haven can now relate to. They fell 54-47 to the Crestwood Comets on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Comets are ranked 34th).

Strath Haven's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-11. As for Crestwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Strath Haven nor Crestwood have any future games scheduled.
