Volleyball Recap: Metro W Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Metro W, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Unity Christian Knights 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Knights on Friday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Metro W had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-14, 15-13.

The victory got Metro W back to even at 2-2. As for Unity Christian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-5.

Metro W does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Unity Christian, they will face off against East Moline Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
