Corona del Mar posted their biggest victory since December 12, 2024 on Thursday. They blew past the Edison Chargers 51-25. Given the Sea Kings' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Chargers are ranked 999th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Corona del Mar is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.9 points per game. As for Edison, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-17.

Corona del Mar will venture away from home to face off against Newport Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edison, they will welcome Patriot at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
