Horseshoe Bend came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Valley Vikings by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2016.
Horseshoe Bend's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Valley, they moved to 13-3 with that defeat, which also ended their six-match winning streak.
Horseshoe Bend wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Sugar-Salem on the 4th. As for Valley, they will head out to square off against Oakley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
