Franklin Regional waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They managed a 54-48 win over the Shaler Area Titans. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Titans are ranked 40th).

Franklin Regional is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points per game. As for Shaler Area, they moved to 11-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
