Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northside). They were the clear victor by a 13-6 margin over the Jonesboro Cardinals on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Brody Wells made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has become a key player for Northside: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise. Wells was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. Those stolen bases were his first of the season.
