Basketball Recap: Northeastern Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Northeastern duked it out withDallastown on Wednesday. The Northeastern Bobcats fell to the Dallastown Wildcats 55-50. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Northeastern lost, don't look at Nylah Davis. Despite the final result, she posted 19 points. The dominant performance gave Davis a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Lauralye Kennedy, who had 11 points.

Northeastern's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Dallastown, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1-1.

Northeastern will head out to face off against Red Lion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Red Lion will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Northeastern surely won't give up without a fight. Dallastown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
