Basketball Recap: Locke Comes Up Short

Locke was the 22-16 winner over Port of Los Angeles when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Locke Saints took a 35-21 bruising from the Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears on Wednesday. The game marked the Saints' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Locke's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Port of Los Angeles, the victory snapped their losing streak at ten games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-9 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Locke will challenge Dymally at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Locke's defense has only allowed 24.8 points per game this season, so Dymally's offense will have their work cut out for them. Port of Los Angeles has already played their next contest (against Hawkins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
