Augusta E waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Anderson C Cavaliers. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly ten runs.

Augusta E got a massive performance out of Jaiden Jacobsen, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits Jacobsen has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Brown, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Augusta E always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in six consecutive contests.

Augusta E's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Anderson C, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Augusta E will challenge Providence Athletic Club at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.38 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Anderson C, they will face off against Greenwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
