Riverside has gone 10-0 against Lakeland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Riverside Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Lakeland Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. Riverside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Riverside took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Old Forge by a score of 42-35. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a hard 53-36 fall against Western Wayne.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Lakeland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything came up roses for Riverside against Lakeland in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 59-30 win. Will Riverside repeat their success, or does Lakeland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
