There's no place like home for New Manchester, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Langston Hughes Panthers 12-2 on Thursday. Considering the Jaguar have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory snapped New Manchester's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record. As for Langston Hughes, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Manchester will host Villa Rica at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. Villa Rica will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something New Manchester surely won't give up without a fight.
