Softball Recap: Clopton Takes a Loss

Clopton lost against North Callaway back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks came up short against the Thunderbirds, falling 9-2. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clopton's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for North Callaway, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Clopton will head out on the road to face off against Montgomery County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hawks 4, the Wildcats 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for North Callaway, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Elsberry at 5:00 p.m.
