Football Recap: Tomball Cougars vs. Klein Collins Tigers
It was a proper cat-fight when Tomball faced off against Klein Collins on Friday. The Cougars were just a hair shy of victory and fell 35-34 to the Tigers. Surprisingly, this marked the Cougars' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Perhaps the best among those players was Ian Thomas, who rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Jaxyn Faldyn, who threw for 178 yards and one TD.
Klein Collins' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braydon Schoggin led the charge by rushing for 91 yards, while also throwing for 166 yards and one touchdown while completing 73.3% of his passes. 87 of Schoggin's passing yards were hauled in by Adrian Jenkins, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Having lost for the first time this season, Tomball fell to 2-1. As for Klein Collins, the victory was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.
