Baseball Recap: Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Takes a Loss

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pelham Hornets, falling 12-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 on Tuesday.

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Pelham, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Southwest Georgia STEM Charter is set to take on their familiar foe Early County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pelham will square off against rival Baconton Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hornets 2.8, the Blazers 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
