Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alta Loma). Their defense stepped up to hand the Los Altos Conquerors a 5-0 shutout on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Braves needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

The win got Alta Loma back to even at 7-7-1. As for Los Altos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alta Loma will face off against Colony at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Los Altos, they will take on La Habra at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
