Baseball Game Preview: Clover Eagles vs. Westside Rams

For the second straight game, Clover will face off against Westside. The Eagles will square off against the Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Clover's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Westside's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Clover needed a bit of extra time to put away Westside. They won by a run and slipped past the Rams 8-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Clover got a big performance out of Merik Daly, who got on base in three of his six plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The Eagles are undefeated when Daly posts two or more runs, but 5-6 otherwise. Tyler Fan also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Clover's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Westside, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
