Beloit typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Nemaha Central proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Trojans 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Thunder in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

Nemaha Central got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 30-28.

Nemaha Central's victory bumped their record up to 18-14. As for Beloit, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-7 record this season.
