Basketball Recap: Ocean View Christian Comes Up Short

Ocean View Christian played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions, falling 42-22. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Ocean View Christian still got an impressive performance from Montse Acosta, who posted 16 points. That was a full 72.7% of Ocean View Christian's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

It was another big night for Kameron Owens, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology. Owens is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Anicka Redondo, who scored ten points and five steals.

Ocean View Christian now has a losing record at 4-5. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Ocean View Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 30-21 win against Preuss UCSD on the 23rd. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 43-19 victory against Liberty Charter on the 23rd.
