After a string of three wins, Tattnall Square Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stratford Academy Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Eagles are ranked 32nd).

Tattnall Square Academy's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2-1. As for Stratford Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Looking ahead, Tattnall Square Academy will challenge John Milledge Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stratford Academy, they will host Mary Persons at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
