Baseball Recap: Ringgold Takes a Loss

If Ringgold was feeling good fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Sonoraville last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Coahulla Creek Colts by a score of 6-5 on Friday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colts apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Coahulla Creek, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15.

Coming up, Ringgold will head out on the road to take on Sonoraville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coahulla Creek will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' contest: after the Tigers faces off against the Phoenix, they'll take on Coahulla Creek again at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
