Softball Recap: Carney Bulldogs vs. Yale Bulldogs
Carney had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Yale on Tuesday. Carney blew past Yale 12-6. Carney not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 15th (when they won 9-1).
Italy Ventris was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Ventris was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
