Basketball Recap: Whitehall's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Whitehall lost against Northampton back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Whitehall Zephyrs fell 48-37 to the Northampton Konkrete Kids. The Zephyrs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loss or not, Whitehall got some senior leadership from Jade Alvarez and Charlotte Bynoe. Alvarez posted 18 points and five boards, while Bynoe put up seven points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Alvarez has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lyneida Otanez, who had four points.

Whitehall's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-10. As for Northampton, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Whitehall has already played their next matchup, a 51-17 loss against Emmaus on the 17th. As for Northampton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-29 win against Pocono Mountain East on the 16th.
