Baseball Recap: Waldron Comes Up Short

Waldron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Pottsville Apaches, falling 17-7. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Apaches from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Waldron's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Pottsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waldron will take on Booneville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pottsville, they will challenge Dardanelle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
