Softball Recap: St. Cecilia Comes Up Short

If St. Cecilia was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Adams Central on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluehawks took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays on Monday. The Bluehawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

St. Cecilia saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tatum Hawkinson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

St. Cecilia's defeat dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Guardian Angels Central Catholic, their record now sits at 16-11.

St. Cecilia has already played their next game (against Boone Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Guardian Angels Central Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Neumann at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
