Baseball Recap: Ursuline Takes a Loss

Ursuline managed to slip by Canfield the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Fighting Irish came up short against the Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 11-0.

Ursuline has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Canfield, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

Looking ahead, Ursuline will take on Woodridge in a tournament on Thursday. As for Canfield, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lakeside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.29 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
