Baseball Recap: Lincoln Park Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brooks on Saturday, Lincoln Park came back down to earth. The Lions fell just short of the Amundsen Vikings by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

With the loss, Lincoln Park broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-9. As for Amundsen, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 3-15 record.

While Lincoln Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
