Basketball Recap: Oakland Comes Up Short

Oakland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 40-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skyline Titans . Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-46 back in January.

Oakland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Skyline, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-8.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Oakland Wildcats duke it out with the Fremont Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Oakland is facing Fremont at the right time seeing as Fremont is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Skyline, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Granada at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
