Soccer Recap: Antioch Takes a Loss

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Antioch was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Heritage Patriots, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in January.

Antioch has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Heritage, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antioch will head out to square off against Pittsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage, they will head out on the road to take on Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Heritage surely won't give up without a fight.
