Football Recap: Parkdale Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Parkdale lost against Bowie back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 12-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.

Brandon Villalta threw for 86 yards and one TD. Leo Hoerner was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

Bowie was led to victory by Jordan Creek and Ethan White. Creek threw for 112 yards and one touchdown on only ten passes, while White rushed for 112 yards. The dominant performance also gave Creek a new career-high in rushing yards (27).

Parkdale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Bowie, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Coming up, Parkdale will look to defend their home field on Saturday against DuVal at 2:00 p.m. The Panthers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bowie, they will head out on the road to take on Laurel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
