Soccer Recap: Manual Arts' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gertz-Ressler, Manual Arts was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the West Adams Panthers a 1-0 shutout. The victory was some much needed relief for the Toilers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Manual Arts' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5-1. As for West Adams, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Manual Arts will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Diego Rivera at 4:15 p.m. on January 10, 2025. After both having extra time off, West Adams and Los Angeles will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 3:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
