Football Recap: Fox Chapel Takes a Loss + How To Watch

While it was Fox Chapel who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Franklin Regional who put up more. The Foxes fell 21-10 to the Panthers. While the Foxes didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 7-0 in the first quarter.

Despite the loss, Fox Chapel saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gianni Fusaro rushed for 63 yards and one TD. Fusaro was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 64 yards.

The critical scores for Franklin Regional came from Jaymeir Austin, Jet Taylor, and Tommy Verruggio.

Fox Chapel is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. As for Franklin Regional, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fox Chapel will take on Plum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin Regional, they will square off against Penn-Trafford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
