Soccer Recap: Crossroads Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Crossroads Roadrunners came up short against the Windward Wildcats and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Roadrunners have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Crossroads and nudges their season record down to 3-6-1. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-1-1 Brentwood School (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 83.4% over those games). As for Windward, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Crossroads has already played their next contest (against Archer School for Girls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Windward, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Brentwood School on the 3rd.
