Watauga waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 18 straight wins... but they left with 19. They blew past the Alexander Central Cougars 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Watauga won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-23.

Watauga's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caroline Childers, who had 14 digs and three assists. Childers has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 26 times she's played. Lilli Combs was another key player, getting 13 digs.
