After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Meadowcreek, Berkmar was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Brookwood Broncos 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Patriots as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Frankmauro Ferreras was the driving force of Berkmar's attack as he scored both of Berkmar's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Berkmar's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-4. As for Brookwood, they dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
