South Gwinnett's defeat was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Jackson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for another result: the Panthers was given a victory via forfeit against South Gwinnett later that day.
