Soccer Game Preview: Morro Bay vs. Sierra Pacific

The Morro Bay Pirates will venture away from home to square off against the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Morro Bay will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Morro Bay is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Washington Union. Olivia Moreno was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Sierra Pacific was able to grind out a solid victory over Orcutt Academy on Friday, taking the game 3-1.

Morro Bay's record now sits at 8-10-2. As for Sierra Pacific, they now have a winning record of 9-8-5.

Morro Bay might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from Sierra Pacific in their previous matchup back in May of 2021. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
