Basketball Recap: Reading Takes a Loss

Reading suffered their biggest defeat since December 30, 2025 on Thursday. They lost 58-32 to the Wilson Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Red KNights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 20th).

Reading now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Wilson, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Looking ahead, Reading will challenge Berks Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wilson, they will face off against Central Bucks East at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
