Soccer Recap: Clovis West Takes a Loss

After flying high against Clovis last Friday, Clovis West came back down to earth. The Clovis West Golden Eagles fell just short of the Clovis North Broncos by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Broncos earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Clovis West's loss dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Clovis North, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Clovis West didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Stockdale on the 15th. As for Clovis North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 defeat against Garces Memorial on the 15th.
