Softball Recap: Lee County Sets Scoring Season-High Against Northside

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lee County). They put the hurt on the Northside Eagles with a sharp 21-3 victory on Thursday. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

The win (which was Lee County's third in a row) raised their record to 8-4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Northside, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Coming up, Lee County will be playing at home against Lowndes at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northside, they will venture away from home to square off against Warner Robins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
