Softball Recap: Glenpool Takes a Loss

Glenpool fell victim to Verdigris and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The shutout was out of character for the Warriors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Glenpool has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-14 record this season. As for Verdigris, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-7.

Glenpool wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-8 victory against Cleveland on the 3rd. As for Verdigris, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-2 win against Sallisaw on the 2nd.
