Basketball Recap: Trabuco Hills Takes a Loss

Trabuco Hills was the 50-35 winner over Dana Hills when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trabuco Hills Mustangs took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dana Hills Dolphins.

When it comes to explaining why Trabuco Hills lost on Tuesday, don't look at Cassandra Ince. Despite the final result, she went 6 for 8 on her way to 12 points and three blocks. The dominant performance gave Ince a new career-high in blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Tapper, who posted ten points and four steals.

Even though they lost, Trabuco Hills was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Trabuco Hills suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 14-5. As for Dana Hills, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.

Trabuco Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-42 defeat against San Clemente on the 9th. As for Dana Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-23 loss against Anaheim on the 8th.
