While Valwood put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Community Christian Academy. Valwood was the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over Community Christian Academy. Considering the Valiants have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Asher Wells was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
