Chaparral hadn't done well against Douglas County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Chaparral now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Douglas County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
