Baseball Recap: Rock Springs Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against New Creation Christian Academy

Rock Springs Christian Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders as Rock Springs Christian Academy made off with a 16-1 win. Rock Springs Christian Academy has beaten New Creation Christian Academy the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest New Creation Christian Academy has come to flipping the script.

Ryder Graham made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. He also got two hits, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Brandt Washington was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Jakob Hammett was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Rock Springs Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .710. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Creation Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .308.

The victory got Rock Springs Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for New Creation Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.
